Fundamentally challenging illegal or arbitrary actions by government departments or public authorities, against violations of legal and constitutional rights of citizens, society, and corporate bodies.

1.A. Violation of Fundamental Rights

Challenging violations of Fundamental Rights under Chapter III of the Constitution of India. Examples include police excesses, custodial violence, and infringement of personal liberty, freedom of speech, or movement.

1.B. Public Interest Litigations (PILs)

Matters of national interest and human rights violations, including environmental issues, rights of marginalized communities, and misuse of public funds.

1.C. Education Matters

Addressing admission irregularities in public institutions, and recognition or affiliation issues related to schools and colleges.

1.D. Municipal and Local Body Issues

Handling illegal constructions, land use issues, property tax disputes, and challenges related to sanitation and civic services.

1.E. Industrial and Labour Law

Writs against labor court awards, including matters of retrenchment, reinstatement, and disputes involving public sector units.

1.F. Election Matters

Legal challenges related to local body, legislative, and parliamentary elections, including illegal disqualifications and electoral malpractices.

1.G. Motor Vehicle Cases

Issues concerning permits, route timings, motor vehicle taxation, and matters under the Motor Vehicles Act and associated rules.

2. Writs Against Quasi-Judicial Bodies

Challenging orders from tribunals, commissions, or boards where no adequate or alternative legal remedy exists.

3. Special Leave Petitions (SLPs)

Filing SLPs before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India under Article 136 of the Constitution and related provisions.
